Honor Contractor

Honor is a small inland village on the Platte River, sitting at the edge of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore territory. It's a working community, not a resort town, and the housing stock reflects that: modest single-story and two-story homes, a mix of older construction and mid-century builds, many of them owner-occupied year-round. The properties here need practical, reliable work: roofs that last through hard winters, solid siding, and foundations that handle the frost line without issue.

Gerhard & Sons works with Honor homeowners on the full range of residential construction and repair. We handle roofing, siding, windows and doors, concrete foundations and footings, framing, decks, and interior remodeling, and we work directly with the homeowner from estimate through completion. Honor's proximity to the national lakeshore draws some seasonal traffic, but the residents here are mostly full-time, and we approach every job with that in mind.
